Thank You Willow Grove Donors!
Following the recent opening of Willow Grove Adolescent Unit, St. Patrick’s Hospital Foundation would like to give a special ‘Thank you!’ to all of the donors who supported the fundraising for this Service, in particular:
-
Anon. Donor: pledging €500,000 over 5 years to pay for services for teenagers who would not otherwise be able to access them. This includes both in-patient and community services.
-
Hilton in the Community Foundation: €20,000 for classroom equipment. This helps ensure that the teens can continue their studies and not miss out on schoolwork whilst a service user. It helps reduce disruption to each young person’s school and social life, and eases re-integration back into their own schools after their Hospital stay.
-
ESB Electric Aid: €10,000 for IT equipment, including laptops so that teens can stay in touch with friends and family as in-patients, plus use them with their schoolwork.
-
Anon. Foundation: €15,000 for furnishing the Relaxation Room and Occupational Therapy equipment.
St. Patrick’s provides a national service for adolescents which include community, day and in-patient services.
