Making a difference, working together
As a company, you can choose to support one of the many specialist mental health services we support. You can choose to make a once-off gift, sponsor an event or a provide funds over a number of years through a long-term alliance.
There are a number of ways we can work together:
Make a Corporate donation: Support mental health services at St. Patrick’s and help make a difference to the lives of people we work with. Remember any corporate donation over €250 per annum is tax deductible.
Sponsor an event: Sponsor one of our large annual events such as the Annual Golf Classic, the Presents of Mind Christmas Appeal or any one of our smaller events. Sponsorship is invaluable to us, to ensure the maximum impact of our fundraised income.
We also value all donations-in-kind, as well as donations of refreshments and prizes.
Matching funds: Offer to match the funds raised by staff, thereby supporting and encouraging them to fundraise for people affected by mental illness. It shows both a commitment to mental health and to staff initiatives. You can also consider matching funds we receive from grant-making trusts and foundations.
Payroll giving: Providing payroll giving shows that your company cares about its staff, and not-for-profit organisations like St. Patrick’s. If you do not already have a payroll giving scheme in place, don’t worry – it’s quick and easy to set up. All modern payroll systems can handle payroll giving.
Cause Related Marketing: The St. Patrick’s Hospital Foundation can work together with companies to simultaneously raise funds for its programmes and highlight products through co-branding, making them more attractive to ethical consumers.
Charity Partner and Charity of the Year: Support mental health services and nominate St. Patrick’s Hospital Foundation as your company’s charity of the year. We can help to devise and execute a huge variety of events, volunteering programmes, campaigns and promotions that will stimulate good customer relations, improve staff morale and promote good corporate citizenship.
Corporate volunteering: Support and encourage your staff to donate their time and skills as well as funds! Get out of the office, build your team relationships and spend a day helping in our gardens, volunteer a skill such as hosting a drama workshop for service users, or join our team for our pin badge sales day.
Employee Fundraising: Employees can support the work of the Foundation in a very tangible way, while engaging in team building and corporate citizenship simultaneously. Staff can organise their own event to raise funds for mental health services or participate in other activities and challenges.
Gifts-in-kind: If your company can provide equipment or services in lieu of cash that would help us provide mental health services we would love to hear from you. Items donated to us are as valuable as cash donations.
